TELCO business development manager

  • Design commercial and organizational setup for telecommunication department

  • Analyse Regulatory and Commercial aspects of the telco infrastructure development

  • Manage relationship with the telco regulatory institutions

  • Adopting the business model to be in line with current regulatory requirements

  • Setup a financial templates and operational model for a future proof operation

  • Monitor resource utilization and define the organizational requirements of the unit

  • Perform market research for potential expansion

  • Monitor and research market for non-organic opportunities to accelerate telco business
  • Develop pricing and cost model of the new business and lead development of products, processes
  • Analyse the cost & revenue structure of the EE telco products and services

  • Develop new products and services and set up pilots for PoC testing

  • Create Business Cases for the opportunity assessment

  • Lead Sell -> Build -> Run Service Design for all telco products

  • Define and lead efficiency improvements and automation in the telco department

  • Improving and updating the current documented processes

  • Establish performance metric system for the telecommunication products and create recommendations for improvements

  • Continuous performance monitoring

  • Develop product, channel and sales efficiency systems (CRM, automatic order handling tool, self-service portal, Service Availability Repository and click to Quote system)

  • Represent the Telco business needs in major projects, IT systems related topics

  • Coordinate the collaboration with other department

  • Constantly screening synergy opportunities with the core energy operation

  • Support the energy department with Smart Data inputs for network development

  • Organizing regular reviews with stakeholder teams connected to Telco department

  • Analysing the stakeholder departments’ performance and creating platform for innovative ideas

  • Create roadmap for the introduction of the new improvements




  • Bachelor degree in business/economics

  • 8 years of telecommunication experience

  • Solid B2B and B2C Telco market understanding

  • Strong Commercial Acumen

  • Strong financial and technical understanding of telecommunication

  • M&A valuation principles, integration principles

  • Experience in Intrapreneurship and Lean methodologies

  • Process & System design/integration background

  • Performance Monitoring System design experience

  • Strong Marketing, Pricing and Product Development background

  • Partner management experience

  • Strong English and Hungarian verbal and written communication skills
