  • Serving a lead role in enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective use of IT technology.

  • Proactively serving as a “trusted advisor,” and is the primary IT point of contact to business

  • Operating as the key business contact representing IT in promoting IT services and capabilities

  • Accountable for the delivery of IT projects and services for the respective business unit.

  • Ensure service level agreements (SLA’s), Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), Business Continuity Requirements are met with business expectations

  • Development and implementation of solution road maps that are aligned to the business units' and corporate IT strategy and architecture.

  • Transform the business requirements into IT projects, follow the project statuses of the respective business unit

  • Represents the interest of business units among the internal IT teams and external IT service providers

  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application, Security and international governance teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards and IT strategy

  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office in order to allocate the required resources for the IT projects

  • Planning the IT budget and tracking the actual spends of the respective department, reports the deviations for the IT management and IT controlling


  • MsC degree in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Economics and/or equivalent professional experience

  • Capable of communicating complex, technical topics to a non IT audiences

  • Understand the demand and support the Business Unit to phrase the business requirements

  • Being aware of the main business processes, on his/her supported business unit

  • Knowing the criticality of the processes, supported by IT systems (incl. acceptable downtime, peak periods, service recovery time)

  • Striving to understand market challenges, including customer priorities and competitive issues

  • strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resources.

  • Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills

  • Capable of interacting with senior management, and influence decision makers

  • Strong English capability in written and verbal

  • Capable to collaborate with international teams

Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in the Utility or Energy industry

  • Experience within large, multinational company

  • Working experience in large and complex IT environment

  • experience in management of medium or large scale project
